UUCA HOSTED IMMIGRATION ROUNDTABLE WITH SENATOR TIM KAINE

UUCA hosted an immigration reform roundtable put on by Senator Tim Kaine's office. The roundtable discussion, which was closed to the public, included area immigrants and advocates. In the news conference held after the discussion, Senator Kaine stressed his support of immigration reform and touched on how his stance is a part of putting his faith into action. News coverage was then overtaken by the announcement of Sen. Kaine being picked as Clinton's VP candidate.
